Adigrat University has officially launched a three-day training program titled “Capacity Building Training for Secondary School Principals on Instructional Leadership, Change Management, and Digital Skills.” The program is organized by the Deliverology and Teachers Development Coordination Office.

The training was officially opened by Dr. Haftay G/Yesus, Delegate to the Vice President, following a brief orientation by Mr. Getnet Kiros, Head of the Coordination Office. Mr. Araya Debalkew, Dean of the College of Social Sciences, also delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of strengthening school leadership to improve educational outcomes.

The program focuses on three key thematic areas: Instructional Leadership, Change Management, and Digital Skills, all of which are critical for enhancing the performance of school leaders in today’s evolving education system. The training has brought together university leaders, expert trainers, and secondary school principals, ensuring active participation and meaningful engagement.

Designed using a Training of Trainers approach, the program not only equips participants with essential leadership and digital competencies but also prepares them to transfer the knowledge and skills gained to other educators in their respective institutions. This cascading model is expected to amplify the impact of the training and contribute to sustainable capacity building across schools.

Overall, the initiative aims to empower principals as effective instructional leaders, promote practical improvements in educational quality, and strengthen the integration of digital skills in school management. It represents an important step toward enhancing institutional leadership and advancing a modern, resilient education system.

የትግራይ ግዜያዊ አስተዳደር ፕረዚዳንት ጀነራል ታደሰ ወረደ በዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርስቲ የተሰሩና በሂደት የሚገኙ ፕሮጀክቶች ጎብኝቷል። ፕረዚዳንቱ የዩኒቨርስቲው ኣይሲቲ መሰረተ ልማት፣ ዶ/ር ዛይድ ነጋሽ አስተዳድር ህንፃ፣ ሆስፒታል፣ ዘመናዊ የእንስሳት እርባታ ማእከልና ለሕክምና አገልግሎት የሚውሉ ሁለት ኮምፕሌክስ ህንፃዎች ላይ የአካል ምልከታ አድርገዋል።

ከጉብኝቱ ብኋላ ንግግር ያደረጉት ፕረዚዳንት ታደሰ እንደገለፁት ብዙ ዩኒቨርስቲዎች ኣይቻለው በዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርስቲ ያየሁት ግን ልዩና የሚያኮራ ስራ ነው።

ዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርስቲ በወጣቶች የሚመራ መሆኑ በጣም አስደስቶኛል። በዩኒቨርስቲው ያለው ፈጣን እድገት የዛ ውጤት እንደሚሆን እገምታለሁ ሲሉም ተናግረዋል።

ዩኒቨርስቲው እየሰራው ያለው ስራ የሚያበረታታና ለህዝባችን ተስፋ የሚሰጥ ነው ሱሉ ተናግረዋል። ዓዲግራት ሆስፒታል ወስነን ለዩኒቨርስቲው መስጠታችን ደስተኞች ነን ሲሉም ኣክለው ገልፀዋል።

በመጨረሻም የዩኒቨርስቲው ፕረዚዳንት ዶ/ር ገ/ምክኤል ወ/ገብርኤል የትግራይ ግዜያት አስተዳደር ፕረዚዳንት በዩኒቨርስቲው እየተሰሩ ያሉ ፕሮጀክቶች በአካል በመጎብኘታቸው አመስግነው የተሰጡን ገንቢ ሃሳቦች እንደ ግብዓት ተጠቅመን ለቀጣይ ስኬቶቻችን እንጠቀምባቸዋለን ብለዋል።

ለሁሉም በ2016 ዓ/ም የተመረቃችሁ የዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርስቲ ምሩቃን የማዳረሻ ጥናት መጠየቅ እንድትመልሉን ስለመጠየቅ ይመለከታል

ከትምህርት ሚኒስተር በተሰጠን ኣቅጣጫ መሰረት የዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርስቲ የ2016 ዓ/ም ከተመረቁት የቀድሞ ተማሪዎቹ እንደ ናሙና በመውሰድ ኣሁን ያሉበት የቅጥር ሁኔታ ለማወቅ ያለመ የማዳረሻ ጥናት በመካሄድ ላይ ይገኛል። የዚህ የማዳረሻ ጥናት ዓላማ የሙርቃን የቅጥር ሁኔታ፣ የትምህርት ጥራትና የተቋማዊ አገልግሎቶች ሁኔታ ለመገምገም አሁን የምትሰጡን መረጃ ለኣካዳሚክ ጉዳዮች ብቻ እንደሚውል እየገለፅን ከዚ ማስተዋቅያ ጋር በተያያዘ የ Form መጠየቅ ሞልታቹ እንድትልኩልን እየጠየቅን ለምታደርጉልን ትብብር ከልብ እናመሰግናለን።

The program was officially opened by the University President, Dr. Gebremichael Weldegebriel, who emphasized the importance of mentorship in shaping future leaders and strengthening linkages between secondary schools and higher education institutions.

Following the opening remarks, Semhal Redihun provided a comprehensive briefing on the structure and implementation of the program. The session highlighted key components, including academic guidance, experience sharing, and continuous support mechanisms designed to enhance students’ performance and aspirations.

As part of the program, participants were given a guided tour of Adigrat University, offering them firsthand exposure to the campus environment, facilities, and academic setting. The visit aimed to motivate and inspire students to pursue higher education.

The program concluded successfully, marking an important step in strengthening collaboration between Agazi Comprehensive Secondary School and Adigrat University.
