AT-Con Consulting today delivered the final presentation on the Master Plan and Zoning of the Adigrat University Comprehensive Hospital in the presence of key stakeholders and university officials.

The session was officially opened by Dr. Gebremicael Weldegebriel, President of Adigrat University, who welcomed participants and underscored the importance of clarifying critical aspects of the project before its approval. The Project Manager, Mr. Merhawi, presented the final design revisions, highlighting efforts made to minimize rework and ensure full compliance with the approved Master Plan and Zoning framework

The presentation covered the hospital’s architectural design, electrical, sanitary, and mechanical systems, including modern water supply and waste management facilities. Special attention was given to spatial planning, infrastructure integration, and implementation phases.

Among the participants were Ato Redea Gebreegazabher, Mayor of Adigrat Town, council representatives, and members of the university community. Attendees provided valuable feedback and recommendations aimed at strengthening the project.

The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration, transparency, and effective implementation to ensure the successful development of a sustainable, modern, and functional healthcare facility that will serve the community and the region.

The College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at Adigrat University successfully conducted an Internal Program Review Day, bringing together representatives from all departments within the College. The event aimed to critically assess the relevance, quality, and effectiveness of the College’s academic programs and to identify areas for continuous improvement.

Officially opening the event, the Dean of the College, Associate Professor Niguse Gebru, emphasized that program review is one of the College’s core academic quality assurance mechanisms. He noted that the review process helps ensure that curricula, research activities, and community engagement services remain responsive to emerging challenges in agriculture, food security, and environmental sustainability.

“The internal review process enables us to identify gaps, eliminate redundancies, and align our academic programs with national development priorities and industry demands,” the Dean stated.

The review was conducted by a College-level committee comprising representatives from all departments, including Animal Sciences, Plant Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Horticulture, Environmental Sciences, and Agricultural Economics.

During the review session, participants engaged in extensive discussions on several key areas, including:

* Updating and improving course content to reflect current developments in the field;

* Evaluating the balance between theoretical instruction and practical learning experiences, including farm-based training and laboratory work;

* Analyzing graduation rates, student attrition trends, and the effectiveness of academic advising services;

* Assessing the adequacy of laboratory facilities, research farms, and library resources to support teaching, learning, and research activities.

The review provided a valuable platform for reflection, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making aimed at enhancing academic excellence and ensuring that the College’s programs continue to meet the needs of students, employers, and society at large.

ዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርሲቲ የተመራቂ ተማሪዎች የመውጫ ፈተና በዛሬው ዕለት ሀገር አቀፍ ፈተና መውሰድ ጀምረዋል። ፈተናው ዛሬ ሰኔ 04/2018 ዓ/ም የተጀመረ ሲሆን ሰኔ 12/2018 ዓ/ም ይጠናቀቃል።

ፈተናው በፌዴራል የትምህርት ምዘናና ፈተናዎች ኤጀንሲ የሚመራ ሲሆን፣ ለሁሉም ተማሪዎች በኦንላይን ሥርዓት እየተሰጠ ይገኛል። ዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርሲቲም ሙሉ የአይሲቲ መሠረተ ልማትና የሰው ኃይል ዝግጅት በማድረግ ፈተናውን በተሳካ ሁኔታ እያስፈጸመ ይገኛል።

በአጠቃላይ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በሪሜድያል የነበረ የተሳካ አፈፃፀም በተጠናከረ መንገድ እንዲቀጥል፣ ፈተናው በሰላምና በተሳካ ሁኔታ እንዲካሄድ አስፈላጊ የሆኑ የሰው ኃይል፣ የቴክኖሎጂ እና የሎጂስቲክስ ዝግጅቶችን አጠናቆ ወደ ሥራ ገብቷል።

በዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሲሰጥ የቆየው የአቅም ማሻሻያ ትምህርት የማጠቃለያ ፈተና በሰላም ተጠናቀቀ። የፈተናውን መጠናቀቅ ተከትሎ የዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር ገብረሚካኤል ወ/ገብርኤል የምስጋና መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል።

ለፈተናው ዝግጅት ከተለያዩ ክፍሎች የተውጣጣ አብይ ግብረ ሀይል ተቋቁሞ ከዝግጅት ስራ ጀምሮ ፈተናው እስኪጠናቀቅ ድረስ ከፍተኛ ርብርብ መደረጉን እና ውጤታማ ስራዎች መከናወናቸውን የጠቆሙት ፕሬዝዳንቱ፣ ፈተናው ያለምንም የፀጥታ ችግር እንዲሁም ምንም አይነት የቴክኒክ ችግር ሳይኖር በሰላም መጠናቀቁን አስታውቀዋል።

ፕረዚዳንቱ በማከል በዚህ ሂደት የላቀ አዎንታዊ አስተዋጽኦ እያበረከቱ ላሉ ባለድርሻ አካላት በተለይም ለኢትዮቴሌኮም፣ ለከተማው ኤሌክትሪክ አገልግሎት፣ ለዩኒቨርስቲው መረጃና መገናኛ ቴክኖሎጂ ዳይሬክቶሬት፣ ለሰላምና ደህንንት አካላት፣ አመራርና ባለሙያዎች ዩኒቨርስቲው ከልብ የመነጨ ምስጋናና አክብሮት ያቀርባል ሲሉ ተናግረዋል።

ከነገ ጀምሮ ለሚካሄደው ሀገር አቀፍ የመውጫ ፈተና በቂ ዝግጅት መደረጉን ያወሱት ፕሬዝዳንቱ፣ የአቅም ማሻሻያ ትምህርት ማጠቃለያ ፈተና የተፈተኑ ተማሪዎች መልካም ውጤት እንዲገጥማቸው፣ ለመውጫ ፈተናው በዝግጅት ላይ የሚገኙ ተመራቂ ተማሪዎችም መልካም የፈተና ጊዜ እንዲሆንላቸው መልካም ምኞታቸውን ገልፀውላቸዋል።

የዓዲግራት ዩኒቨርሲቲ የፈተና ማዕከል ኃላፊ የሆኑት ታደሰ ብርሃነ(ረ/ፕሮፌሰር) በበኩላቸው፣ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በቂ ዝግጅት በማድረጉ እንዲሁም ተማሪዎች የፈተና ስርዓት አክብረው በመገኘታቸው ፈተናው በሰላምና በተሳካ ሁኔታ መጠናቀቁን ተናግረዋል።
