Adigrat University Conducts Training on Competitive Research Proposal Writing and High-Impact Publishing.

The College of Natural and Computational Sciences (CNCS) at Adigrat University successfully conducted a training session on “Competitive Research Proposal Writing and Publishing in High-Impact Peer-Reviewed Journals” on June 5, 2026.

The training, organized for the academic staff of the college, aimed to strengthen participants’ skills in developing competitive research proposals, securing research funding, and publishing in reputable international journals.

Speaking at the opening session, Mr. Mengistab Gebrehiwot, Dean of the College of Natural and Computational Sciences, emphasized the importance of enhancing research capacity to improve the university’s research output, competitiveness, and global visibility.

The training provided practical insights into proposal development, manuscript preparation, journal selection, and responding to peer-review comments, thereby contributing to the promotion of a stronger research culture within the college.
