Adigrat University Graduates 250 Staff Members from ELIP and HDP Programs.

Adigrat University has successfully graduated 250 academic staff members in its second-round capacity-building programs, comprising 140 participants from the English Language Improvement Program (ELIP) and 110 participants from the Higher Diploma Program (HDP), during a colorful graduation ceremony held at the Debre Damo Hotel.

Delivering the opening remarks, the President of Adigrat University, Gebremichael Woldegabriel, congratulated the graduates and their trainers on their successful completion of the programs. He noted that both ELIP and HDP are rigorous professional development initiatives that require dedication, perseverance, and commitment. He expressed his satisfaction with the achievements of the participants and commended their efforts in successfully completing the training.

During the ceremony, Araia Debalkew, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, delivered a welcome address to the participants and guests. This was followed by congratulatory remarks from Gebrewahid Tsige, Coordinator of the English Language Improvement Program (ELIP), who praised the graduates for their dedication and successful completion of the program.

In addition, Mr. Getnet, Head of the Leadership and Teacher Development Coordination Office, provided a brief overview of the graduation program and highlighted the significance of the training initiatives in enhancing professional competence among academic staff.

The ceremony concluded with closing remarks delivered by Girmay Tadele, Director of Academic Programs, who congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired to improve teaching quality and academic excellence within the university.
