Adigrat University Launches Mentorship Program with Agazi Comprehensive Secondary School.
Adigrat University has launched a mentorship program aimed at supporting high-achieving students from Agazi Comprehensive Secondary School. The initiative connects outstanding secondary school students with high-performing university students and experienced instructors to promote academic excellence and personal development.
The program was officially opened by the University President, Dr. Gebremichael Weldegebriel, who emphasized the importance of mentorship in shaping future leaders and strengthening linkages between secondary schools and higher education institutions.
Following the opening remarks, Semhal Redihun provided a comprehensive briefing on the structure and implementation of the program. The session highlighted key components, including academic guidance, experience sharing, and continuous support mechanisms designed to enhance students’ performance and aspirations.
As part of the program, participants were given a guided tour of Adigrat University, offering them firsthand exposure to the campus environment, facilities, and academic setting. The visit aimed to motivate and inspire students to pursue higher education.
