Adigrat University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wegagen Bank to enhance institutional collaboration and expand access to modern mobile banking services for the university community. The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Gebremichael Weldegebriel on behalf of Adigrat University, reflecting the institution’s strategic direction toward digital transformation and strengthened service delivery. The partnership is expected to facilitate broader adoption of mobile banking solutions, thereby improving convenience and financial accessibility for students and staff.
On behalf of Wegagen Bank, Mr. Haftom Gebregzabher Chief of the North Region Office (Mekelle District), signed the agreement. He emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting higher education institutions through innovative digital banking services and sustainable institutional partnerships aimed at improving financial service delivery in the region.
