Adigrat University’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities conducted an Internal Academic Program Review (APR) aimed at strengthening academic quality and continuous improvement.
The review brought together university leaders, faculty members from the College’s nine departments, and other members of the academic community. Academic Program Director Girmay Tadele(A/Professor) highlighted the importance of the review in identifying areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, while calling for continued collaboration to achieve better academic outcomes.
The Dean of the College, Araya Debalkew (A/Professor), provided an overview of the review process and its significance. Representatives from the College’s departments presented their respective academic program review reports, outlining key achievements, challenges, and areas requiring further improvement.
The presentations were followed by extensive discussion and constructive feedback from participants. The review identified key findings and improvement areas and reaffirmed the College’s commitment to continuous quality assurance, academic excellence, and responsive education.
The participants emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration and coordinated efforts to strengthen academic programs and ensure continuous improvement.
