The College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS) at Adigrat University has initiated a comprehensive curriculum revision of its 10 academic programs to enhance academic quality and align training with current healthcare needs and technological advancements.
The review workshop brought together university leaders, faculty members, and stakeholders. Opening the event, Dr. Tasew Abraha, Chief Academic and Research Director, emphasized the importance of curriculum revision in maintaining educational excellence. Dr. Yemane Gebremariam, Dean of CMHS, highlighted the need to produce graduates who are academically competent, technologically adaptable, and socially responsible.
Mr. Girmay Tadele, Academic Program Director, commended the College for taking the lead in advancing the University’s academic reform agenda.
The workshop concluded with constructive discussions and feedback, which will be incorporated into the revised curricula to ensure alignment with national standards and emerging healthcare demands.
